The annual Association meeting of the Red River Meeting House and Cemetery is Sunday, September 13 starting with a potluck dinner on the grounds at 1:00 pm CST with a service to follow at 2:30 pm CST with music led by Curtis Mabry, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, a highly accomplished and versatile singer and instrumentalist and our speaker will be Geoff Baggett, of Cadiz, Kentucky, as he portrays a parson presenting an abridged version of Jonathan Edwards’ “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God.” He is an avid living historian and Kentucky author. We look forward to these two men of God leading our service. A short business meeting of the Association will follow. Everyone is welcome to attend.

My heart is so grieved for the people of Nepal. I wonder how many knew Jesus before they died? It makes me want to go and tell the world about JESUS!!!

How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher? Romans 10:14

Right now, families in Nepal are waiting for answers.

A devastating flash flood swept through communities along Nepal’s border with Tibet today, destroying homes, roads and other infrastructure. Dozens of fatalities have been reported, and hundreds remain missing as search and rescue efforts continue.

Please pray:
🙏 For families grieving the loss of loved ones
🙏 For those still waiting and searching for family members
🙏 For rescue workers working through dangerous conditions
🙏 For those who have lost homes, livelihoods and everything they own
🙏 For churches and believers in Nepal to have opportunities to serve, bring comfort and share the hope of Jesus
