7•24 Highway 72 Speedway recap!

Cody drove from Tenaha Texas Friday morning, took a nap and then went to the shop to get the car ready all because Big Mike said we were racing 😅

Micah was running good in the heat race but came to the pit saying something wasn’t right. Lo and behold in the feature the driveshaft fell out, AGAIN! He can’t catch a break, but he has been a great sport through these hiccups.

Cody was second heat in the rear, not where we wanted to be but he made the best of it. Started 5th in the feature and finished 4th. Winning isn’t what we expect every weekend, that eventually makes you bored of racing, but a top 5 finish is a must! When he came off I hopped on the side and he’s yelling hurry up my clutch ain’t working 🫠

I guess we have two cars to fix before next Saturdays race at Xtreme…ohh did I mention Cody’s leaving back out for Texas in the morning 😳

Thanks to the ones who keep us rolling each week!

NAS 7•11

Micah dropped the rear end coming out of turn 4 in hot laps and ended his night 🫠

Me, Abby, the loud, always videoing & ‘trying’ to learn how to fix these cars, broke the fuel cell vent before the feature 🤭

Cody started outside pole in heat 1 and inside pole in the feature! After rescaling the car, moving some things around and the track being top notch last night he was on a roll!

Thank You to our sponsors who keep us rolling 💨

We appreciate NAS for putting on a great show and keeping things rolling as quickly as possible! Firework show was amazing as always; truly nothing better than celebrating freedom with racing.

A huge thanks to Big Mike for putting Cody in this sweet ride! A few adjustments and he had it somewhat where he wanted it. He has told me so many things about how different this car is versus his and how much he enjoyed it. Wish I could tell y’all what all he has said but ya girl is still learning and I have no clue; I just keep smiling as he talks 😅

As always thank you to our sponsors & especially Sam the man behind it all. Each one of us would be lost without his knowledge!

•Obviously not a good racing wife even though I video every race and have for the last 2 years. There seems to be no content on this page since 2024; oops 🥴

•Cody’s 2nd weekend in the open wheel; he started 7th in the feature and finished 6th.

•Racing with Darren & Chuck is always a fun time 🤗

•Thanks to our sponsor Micah with Dalrymple Farms for letting us borrow his ride! 🙌🏽
