RC 9U All Stars came up just short in the semifinals today, falling 3-2 to Fern Creek after two extra innings in an absolute battle.

Our boys played their hearts out and left it all on the field. While the last two innings were tough with some frustrating calls and a challenging atmosphere, we couldn’t be more proud of how our team handled themselves. We may not have gotten the outcome we wanted, but we’re walking away better, stronger as a team, and full of pride for what these kids accomplished.

Heads high, boys. You’ve made Russell County proud. 💙⚓️❤️

Our second pool play game last night didn’t go quite as planned, but our boys showed heart and bounced back big today!

Russell County 9U came out strong and secured the win in our first tournament game with an 8-2 victory over Meade County! These boys showed up ready! 🙌

Russell County 9u All Stars will compete July 9-12th at Fern Creek Park in Louisville, KY, in the 9s Minor division - WKY Cal Ripken State Tourney.

The team is led by coaches Jordan Pierce, Thomas Cooper, Brandon Luttrell and Reggie Roy.
