The Lakers fell to Bowling Green 12-2 in the semifinals of Region, bringing the 2026 season to a close. While this wasn’t the ending we hoped for, this team showed heart, determination, and resilience all season long.

A special thank you to our seniors for their outstanding leadership, dedication, and the example they set both on and off the field. Your impact on this program will not be forgotten, and we appreciate everything you gave to Laker Baseball.

Thank you to our coaches, players, families, and community for the continued support throughout the season. We are proud of this team and already look forward to what’s ahead next season.

Lakers defeated Logan Co. 6-3 in the first round of Region play! ⚓️❤️⚾️

The Lakers are moving on and will be back in action Tuesday, May 26 at 5:30 PM at Western Kentucky University.

These boys continue to play with heart, determination, and grit every single game. Let’s keep the momentum rolling and pack the stands to support our Lakers as they continue their Region run!!

🏆⚓️ 16th District Champions ⚓️🏆

Congratulations to our Russell County Laker Baseball Team on bringing home the 16th District Championship Title! The Lakers defeated Monroe County 8-6 in an exciting championship battle, showing heart, determination, and grit from start to finish.

We are so proud of this team, their coaches, and the way they represent Russell County both on and off the field.

Congratulations to Alden Brumley, Ben Kemp, Blaine Melton, Jace Scaggs, and Tanner Stringer for being voted to the all-district team!
