But for this sweet girl, there is SO much learning happening here.

This “simple” station gives our Little Rockets opportunities to practice:

🚀 Balance & postural control
🚀 Gross-motor coordination
🚀 Motor planning
🚀 Spatial awareness
🚀 Early math concepts
🚀 Problem-solving
🚀 Attention & focus
🚀 Following directions & sequencing
🚀 Self-regulation & impulse control
🚀 Independence

When a child figures out how to step over an obstacle, place their foot inside a target, remember where to go next, slow their body down and navigate the pathway independently, they’re doing much more than playing.

They’re learning through movement.

That’s one of our favorite things about teaching this age. The equipment doesn’t have to be complicated for the learning to be BIG. 🌟

At FlipStart, we don’t just keep little bodies busy; we give those little bodies a purpose.
