Rogue and I have come a long way!

I'm so proud of the progress she's made. This bird didnt make it easy to be steady, head up walking around. Bird 3/3 (forgot to video the first 2 expsosures).This is also the first round of birds we successfully acheived de-chase. She's a sharp girl, only de-chasing 2 times before. Now to extend the time between shot/fall & release.

Rogue in her element - cold rainy hunt.
We decided to do a quick afternoon hunt this Sunday. Rogue did not disappoint. She worked the field well, gave us a solid point, and flush within the first 15 mins. If we weren't on a tight schedule, she would've worked until we got our limit. Atta girl!

September 29th, 2024 - We missed the first week of Washington pheasant while visiting family in Wyoming. You bet we got out in the field as soon as we could. Rogue hadn't been on a bird for well over a month and didn't miss a beat. Ran hard, scented well, and found a total of 5 birds! Two of which weren't safe shots and one flying directly into the safety zone. 🙃 Atta girl!!

Rogue has OFFICIALLY passed all her OFA & Health clearances. 🎉
I originally wanted to breed her January 2024. However, with a baby on the way, welping room in the barn not complete, and no birds on the ground to aid their development 2025 is looking to be the year. Stay tuned!
