We celebrated these 8th graders last night with gifts and a pizza party. Unfortunately, the weather has not been on our side this week and our 8th grade night game was cancelled.

These three girls have been great players and leaders all year. We are very proud of the growth that they have had on and off the field over the last 3 years!

Our junior high softball has had a rough year when it comes to our record, but the girls show up every day, work hard and try to improve. They always keep the energy up, encourage each other and never quit. As coaches, that’s all we can ask for. With the season wrapping up soon, I hope everyone can join us on Monday as we celebrate our three 8th graders. First pitch is set for 4:30 with 8th grader announcements starting at 4:15.

This is very important for all parents to attend! We will have a very quick softball meeting afterwards where any questions on the season can be answered.

We had 21 girls show up for Jr. High tryouts. That is an awesome turn out for a district our size. We are in a great position to keep every girl and be able to play an A and B schedule. This is a great opportunity for these girls to be around the game and become familiar with our program. It’s a very fast and tough schedule, but I am excited to see what these girls can accomplish!

Great first day of tryouts with an awesome turnout! Thank you to the families for understanding the switch we had to make due to the weather.

Tomorrow and Wednesday: for the last 2 days of tryouts we are going to go 9-10:30 at the lighted diamond. Please have the girls there by 8:50 so that they can be ready to go by 9.
