Good effort, HCCA Starz U13! 👏

The focus today was more on **player rotation, giving everyone opportunities, and building experience** rather than just the result. Good batting contributions from **Lavith (31), Teerth (24), Ishaan (13), Anirudh (12*), Kanish (12), and Sai (11)**.

Bowling was a little mediocre, possibly due to the heat, but that’s part of the learning process. Hopefully the players get stronger, find their rhythm, and come back with more confidence in the next match! 💪🏏

A close game decided by just 3 runs (DLS)!

Our boys showed great fight with the bat, putting up 227 runs. Our boys showed great fight with the bat, putting up **227 runs**. 👏

**Runs Key Scorers:** Sai 45, Lavith 38, Ishaan 28*, Riaan 21, Anirudh 16, Kanish 12.

Special mention to **Sai and Lavith** for their big contributions, and **Riaan, Ishaan and Anirudh** for good composure and strike rotation.

Bowling was a solid effort overall, with some areas to keep improving—especially **line & length, bowling to the field, and reducing wides**. Special mention to **Lavith (2 wickets)** and **Anirudh (1 wicket)**.

The biggest learning from the game was fielding. A few small lapses made a big difference in such a close match. This will be a key focus in training.

Proud of the boys for fighting till the end. 💪 We’ll learn, improve, and come back stronger!

We had a wonderful holiday celebration honoring the success of our U11 and U13 teams. We expressed our gratitude to our outgoing Youth Director, Ajey Kulkarni, and recognized the hard work of our youth coordinators Vinay, Mahesh, and Ajay, as well as our coach Pavan and the rest of the coaching team.

We also welcomed our new leadership — Shiva as President and Hari as our new Youth Director. Every child was appreciated for their efforts and achievements.

A big thank-you to Sridhar, one of our parents, for treating us to delicious food at Spicy Matka.

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and looking forward to another fantastic year ahead!

HCCA Austin Starz – Proud of You All! ⭐

Team Starz, today’s match didn’t go our way on the scoreboard, but there is so much to be proud of. Every single one of you showed tremendous heart, grit, and sportsmanship out there. We finished just 14 runs short of the target—great heart, great fight, great team effort!

We had players pushing through tough moments, some stepping up in pressure situations, and others delivering standout performances. Sai’s excellent knock held the innings together, our bowlers kept fighting till the end, and the fielding effort never dropped.

We’re thrilled to share that our Starz U11 team has completed the league stage and finished at the top of the table, securing a place in the Quad Series Final!
The team played 8 matches, winning 6 of them—an outstanding effort from all our young stars. In the last match, the team put up a massive total of 290/3 in 25 overs, our highest score of the series!
Key performers in the innings:
Rudy Pardhi † – Retired Hurt, 54 runs off 29 balls with 10 fours (SR 186.21)
Lakshya Dubey* – Not out, 49 runs off 32 balls with 7 fours (SR 153.12)
Arnav Sharma – Not out, 25 runs off 16 balls (SR 156.25)
Adhriith Reddy Bandi – Retired Hurt, 28 runs off 24 balls (SR 116.67)
Bowling highlights:
Arnav Sharma – 5 overs, 2 wickets for 15 runs (Econ 3.00)
Lakshya Dubey* – 4 overs, 1 wicket for 14 runs (Econ 3.50)
Adhriith Reddy Bandi – 3 overs, 1 wicket for 12 runs (Econ 4.00)
The opposition, NextGen, was bundled out for 107 in 25 overs, giving our team a dominant 183-run victory!
Throughout the series, our players shone brightly, earning the Player of the Match award in 7 out of 8 games:

Truly fantastic performances from everyone, showcasing teamwork, spirit, and growth all around!
As many of our kids move to U13 starting January, let’s aim to finish this series on a high note by winning the final and wrapping up the Quad Series in style!

The Starz celebrated their first win of the season with a thrilling 8-run victory over a strong SKA Austin U13 side! It was a complete team effort filled with determination, skill, and teamwork.

Batting Highlights:

Aashrith Reddy Bandi anchored the innings brilliantly with an unbeaten *26(20)**.

Siddhartha Valluri played a solid supporting knock of *26(32)**, stabilizing the innings.

Teerth Devani (14 off 12) added quick runs in the middle overs.

Dhruv Nizambad, Lakshya Dubey, Shyamak Nayak, and Ishaan Sharma made important contributions that kept the scoreboard ticking.

Bowling & Fielding Highlights:

Siddhartha Valluri was outstanding with 2 wickets.

Aashrith Reddy Bandi bowled a tight spell of 3 overs, 1 wicket for just 13 runs.

Dhruv Nizambad, Lakshya Dubey, Adhrith Reddy Bandi, Ishaan Sharma, Rudy Pardhi, all bowled with discipline and control, keeping the pressure on the opposition and restricting SKA’s chase.

The fielding was top-notch — Siddhartha was involved in three run-outs, while Lakshya and Aashrith took sharp catches at key moments. Kanish Malvi took an outstanding catch that turned the match!

Final Result:
SKA Austin U13 ended at 130/7 in 20 overs, falling 8 runs short, giving HCCA Austin Starz their first well-earned victory! 🎉

Hard-fought match against **SKA Austin U13**, who played very well to take the win. Our **HCCA Starz U13** showed great determination, teamwork, and positive energy throughout the game! 💪

Congratulations Team!

What a fantastic win today. Well done to all the players for their all-round performance.
A special shout-out to Lakshya for a brilliant all-round display, scoring his maiden fifty and also taking his first five-wicket haul. A truly memorable day for him.
Great batting by Daksh as well , he narrowly missed his fifty by just 2 runs, but it was a solid and important innings.
Satvik and Lohit got a chance to bowl today and made a promising start.
Overall, it was a strong team effort with great energy on the field. Keep it up, kids!
