Parents often ask: "When should my athlete start strength training?" The answer might surprise you - Middle School is the perfect time to begin.

Here's why:
𝟏) 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐬 𝐚 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 - middle school athletes are still developing coordination. This is the perfect time to teach proper mechanics. These fundamental skills carry into every sport they will play.
𝟐) 𝐈𝐧𝐣𝐮𝐫𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 - As athletes grow, their bodies change rapidly. Strength training helps stabilize joints, strengthen tendons and ligaments, and reduce the risk of common injuries.
𝟑) 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫 - Learning how to train builds discipline, resilience, and a sense of achievement.
