If you haven’t had a chance to visit Lightning Speedway this year, it’s a fantastic weekend to come and see what’s happening! Sully will be racing both nights. Mississippi Thunder Speedway is also hosting a full card tonight, featuring Late Model and Spectator races! We’re looking forward to seeing you this weekend!

Lightning Speedway is excited to announce that we’re adding a 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟔 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 for the 2027 season!

This will be a new class designed to give young racers another opportunity to develop their skills, compete, and keep progressing at Lightning Speedway.

The final class structure is still being developed. Age ranges and rules for tires, clutch, weight, slide, and other details will be finalized after testing and collaboration with racers and track officials.

Great news for Lightning Speedway drivers, teams and fans! The 2027 lineup is growing!

Yes, you heard it right—a Restricted Micro Class is joining Lightning Speedway in 2027!

We’re still working out the specifics, but we wanted to share the exciting news with racers and families so they can start getting pumped.

Thill Racing is off this weekend, but we will be back for a big special next weekend! Come on out and support Lightning Speedway for a great two-day event!

It was a good weekend at Cedar Lake Speedway! Sully’s favorite driver Bobby Pierce got it done for another crown jewel!

We’re taking in a different experience this weekend! Kart is in the shop under a blanket and driver, crew chief and advisor (Spooner) are enjoying the @ Cedar Lake Speedway!

Just a quick update!

Sully will not be racing this Wednesday or Friday (Lightning Speedway is off). Instead, we are taking a weekend off to take in the USA Nationals at Cedar Lake Speedway. We will keep everyone updated on our August schedule soon!
