The practice schedule for the remainder of the week will change. There will be practice today, 6/2/26, and tomorrow, 6/3/26 from 5:30 - 7:30pm. There will be no practice this Thursday, 6/4/26. We will resume our normal practice schedule next week.

This weekend we brought 3 wrestlers to the Southeast Regionals in Duluth, Georgia, and all three placed. We couldn’t be prouder of their performance and look forward to building on this momentum as they prepare for Nationals!

Nyzir Bobbitt-Joyner: 3rd in 14U 140 (Greco)
Travien Harvey: 4th in 14U 140 (Freestyle)

Yesterday we brought 12 wrestlers to the Jaguar Spring Rumble and every one of them competed hard, represented our club well, and continued showing the progress we’ve been making throughout the offseason.

Rahsun Lawrence: 1st Place in the Men’s Open Division (160lbs - 180lbs)
A’Drea Covington: 2nd Place at HS Girls 140lbs
Angela Santos: 2nd Place at HS Girls 134lbs
Tayquan Alston: 2nd Place at HS Boys 128lbs
Seth Dukes: 2nd Place at HS Boys 177lbs
Jonathon Taylor: 2nd Place at MS 132lbs
Yazan Hizam: 2nd Place at MS Boys 150lbs
Badar Hizam: 3rd Place at HS Boys 152lbs
DeQuantay Battle: 3rd Place in the Men’s Open Division (160lbs - 180lbs)

We had a great showing at the North Carolina Freestyle and Greco State Championships this weekend. Several of our wrestlers placed in both Freestyle and Greco, qualifying for Nationals.

Yesterday we brought 8 wrestlers to the Steve Catts Memorial Tournament, and everyone placed. We’ll keep building off this momentum as we head into next weekend for the North Carolina Freestyle and Greco State Championship. Notably Nyzir Bobbitt-Joyner placed 1st in Freestyle and Greco.

Notably Judah Harris picked up a huge victory over the 3A 215 State Champion.
