On May 12, 2006, 34 American Sprint Car Series cars entered 67 Speedway of Texarkana and at the end of the night, Jason Johnson took the win after making the 270-mile drive north to Texarkana, Arkansas. On April 27, 2007, Jason won another ASCS event at 67 Speedway, with current promoter Tim Crawley finishing in 2nd place. Jason came back on May 21, 2011, and won a ASCS Lone Star event.

Jason won the Short Track National's at I-30 Speedway in 2006, and we are honored the family selected 67 Speedway as this years Jason Johnson Classic and the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series Short Track Nationals!

It will be a great 20-year anniversary/memory of the Racin' Cajuns STN win! Jason is missed by so many as he was a fan favorite in our area for a long time.
