Varsity boys sectional practice round at Colonial has been canceled for today. Colonial GC is closed due to high water and poor course conditions.

Varsity golfers will attend school through the end of the day and will NOT be released early. Attempts will be made to reschedule the practice round for next week.

The status of today’s JV match and varsity practice is TBD and additional details will be sent out later today.

Boys golf shoots a 343 placing 13th out of 20 teams at the Nate Niekamp Memorial Tournament. Carson Stauffer led the team with an 83.

Our Fridays typically fall In between a Thursday MAC conference match and a Saturday 18-hole invitational. This makes Friday practice a great opportunity to focus on recovery, flexibility, and mobility.

Our Friday practices utilize stretching and mobility programs through PLT4M - a digital health and athletic development program designed for schools and sports teams. Delivered through a web-based app, PLT4M allows coaches to design personal workout plans for their team through an extensive library of instructional fitness videos. Workout designs can be centered around strength training, flexibility, endurance, and many other conditioning objectives.

The start time for tonight’s home JV match vs. Lincolnview has been moved up to a 4:30 start.

Varsity is still scheduled to tee off at 4:30 at the Mercer County Elks vs. Coldwater.
