Hey everyone! I hope you’re all having a great Summer! I’ll be honest, the heat this summer has definitely helped reaffirm my decision to merge with . It has been pretty brutal. I hope you have all had the opportunity to ride and enjoy the fresh air! I’m about wrapped up coaching my 6th year coaching the Dirt Dawgs (6year olds) and 2nd year coaching the 906 Adventure team (13-16 year olds).

We’re full steam ahead at the new shop! The work atmosphere has been wonderful! The new building is beautiful and the deck out back makes our Friday Happy Hours (4pm-6pm) very pleasant. We also have 2 massive televisions above the service areas playing bike races all day, every day.

Service is very busy with new bike sales along with plenty of bike repairs! We carry Trek, Salsa, Ibis, and Allied bikes! We have everything from kids bikes to adult, comfort, hybrid, road, gravel, mountain, and e-bikes, in stock. We also carry a large selection of nutrition, parts and accessories,. Various models of Trek helmets, clothing, full-size runs of Shimano shoes and pedals. Trek, Garmin, and Wahoo electronics. It’s awesome being able to have a wide variety of products on hand. If there’s something in particular, give me a call at the shop! We also have the shop mascots, Jackson and Jolene, here to greet you at the front door!

Hey Everyone! Here’s an update on my transition with !

To say things have been busy is an understatement. I’ve seen many familiar faces and it’s honestly been a fantastic experience so far! I am very humbled by the support and don’t take that for granted. I’m working about 20 hours a week less and getting more service work completed within a “normal” work day. I also have a great support system at the shop. It’s been great having additional support to help get work completed more efficiently. I now have access to more space for tools and equipment to provide even better service work that you’ve been used to.

To schedule tune ups and bike service, please call the shop or email me! We’re scheduling service work as well as taking in walk in service! We’re also doing on the spot service for minor repair work to keep you out on your bike!

For suspension work, I’m currently scheduling about half of each day for suspension service, and half for other service work! I’ve also continued offering discounted service work for other shops to help keep turn around service within 2 weeks. I’m also still accepting suspension service sent from across the country. We’re set up with a UPS account and are able to quickly able to send stuff out! We can also sell you suspension parts and ship them to you!

My favorite part is now being able to offer bikes!!! We carry Trek, Salsa, Ibis, and Allied Bikes!!!! We carry everything from 12” bikes to full fledged race bikes, with everything in between. We also have many e-bikes in stock! We’re across the street from the White Pine Trail and within a few miles from some of the area’s most popular mountain bike trails. Pretty surreal and bittersweet moment. The sign is lit and we’re officially moved in. I appreciate each and every single person I’ve worked with over the past 5 years and I’m extremely proud and grateful for the future. These past few weeks have been a roller coaster but it’s a huge relief to be in this space.

Our Grand Opening is next Friday, March 7th, starting at 4pm. We’ll have bikes, food, and music! We’d love to share what George, Katie, Craig, Graham, Scott, and several others helped build! I couldn’t have gotten here without your help and I’ve forever grateful. Come out and party! Please share!!!

Seals were starting to bark. Had a little bit of grease left and a whole lotta air in the damper.

This 2017 Fox ReAktiv shock had never been serviced, and it shows. The air can grease had turned to a black sludge and the seals had actually deteriorated and tore apart. This might be the worst one I’ve seen that still somewhat “worked” without needing to replace any hard parts. Glad I was able to get this thing dialed back in.

I don’t think the bearings ever had grease on them. Steering was just a wee bit loose.

This SRAM derailleur pulley has seen better days. Often overlooked during tune ups, having free spinning pulleys help make your shifting clean and smooth!

2014 Fox shock in for its first service. Oof. That oil was long gone. Not too bad all things considered. However, I strongly recommend getting it serviced at least once every two years.
