13U Bombers Battle to Perfect Game Gold Bracket Runner-Up Finish!

What a weekend for our 13U Bombers! The boys finished Runner-Up in the Perfect Game Gold Bracket, posting an impressive 3-1-1 record and showcasing heart, grit, and determination.

After battling through pool play, the Bombers caught fire in bracket play, knocking off the #2 seed and then the #3 seed in back-to-back games to punch their ticket to the Championship Game. Playing their third game of the day in nearly 100-degree heat, the team left everything on the field before falling just one run short in a hard-fought title game.

⚾️Tanner Madden was named MVPitcher for his outstanding performance throughout the tournament. Tanner finished as the #2 overall pitcher in the event, posting a 2.100 ERA and recording a shutout during pool play.

⚾️Cord Prunty finished the tournament ranked 6th overall in pitching, delivering big-time performances when his team needed him most.

⚾️Carter Smith finished ranked 10th overall in hitting, helping power the Bombers offense throughout the weekend.

We couldn’t be more proud of this group. Their resilience, toughness, and team-first mentality were on full display all weekend long.

The Bombers Girls brought the power to the Top Gun Turf Wars Tournament this weekend in Asheville, and these ladies put on a show at the plate!

Congratulations to Bombers Softball 14U Greene on an outstanding performance this weekend, finishing as Gold Bracket Runner-Up on 5/31! The team battled hard all day, going 3-1 and coming up just two runs short in a hard-fought championship game.

🥎Ava Millwood earned MVP honors after throwing a dominant shutout in the semifinal game. A huge shoutout to Karleigh Shrader for her clutch performance behind the plate, helping guide the defense every step of the way.

🥎At the plate, Matilda Hinshaw and Olivia McCoig led the offense with 4 hits each on the day, setting the tone for the Bombers attack.

Congratulations to Bombers Softball 12U Prunty on bringing home the DC Fastpitch Silver Bracket Championship on May 30th! After a tough start, they battled back to win THREE straight games and claim the championship! The ladies collected 56 hits in 5 games and swiped 27 stolen bases.

This team never quit, stayed together, and found a way to finish on top. We are incredibly proud of the effort, energy, and heart these girls showed throughout the tournament.
