Irondequoit Fury Giving players of all ages and skill levels, an affordable opportunity to play and continue to develop year round.

The Irondequoit Fury Club Field Hockey program was developed to give players of all ages and skill levels, an affordable opportunity to play and continue to develop year round. Most club teams have a minimum attendance requirement which makes it difficult for multi-sport athletes to commit to. The cost to join these teams are often high as well since they are traveling and competing in many USA sa

nctioned tournaments. With the Irondequoit Fury Club, my hope is to give these athletes who cannot make the financial or time commitment, an opportunity to continue to train with other field hockey players who are serious about their growth and development. As the program continues to grow, we would like to develop an Elite Team for those that wish to travel and compete in larger tournaments (such as the National Indoor Tournament, National Field Hockey Festival, etc…). This will give athletes the opportunity to play in front of college coaches, which will be advantageous to them in the recruiting process. Follow us on Twitter

Congrats to our U19 Orange Team that finished 2nd in their pool after going 3-1 at Limelight this past weekend! They put on a great showing, outscoring their opponents 12-2, and playing some fantastic team defense. We are so proud of the hard work you have all put in!🧡

Our U16 White Team had a blast at Limelight this past weekend. We decided to challenge ourselves with half our players playing up an age division. For many, this was their first taste of a large regional recruiting tournament facing some tough competition. The team played hard, listened to feedback and made adjustments, and continued to improve every game. The goal of this tournament was to push and challenge ourselves while continuing to develop as a team. They made us proud this weekend as they really developed some great chemistry and individually became more confident in themselves. We are looking forward to watching this group continue to grow 🤍

Last weekend our U14 Team had their first tournament in Buffalo. They went 3-1 with their only loss coming in a game where they played without a goalie. Everyone contributed, with five different players scoring and some key defensive saves.

This group loves each other, and we love them! Also a big shout out to Coach Audrey for coaching the U14’s and getting the day started for us!

Final Tournament Stats:
Jules - 3 goals, 3 assists, 9 saves
Tobin - 4 goals, 8 points
Ali - 2 goals, 1 assist, 5 points
Avery - 1 goal, 1 assist, 3 points
Lily - 1 goals, 2 points
