Flashback Friday: to my 4 week Yoga Series at .hill.chiropractic

I love running series or week long camps for the reason that I get to know the kids, their needs, their bodies and what they seem to benefit from the most! It helps me to tailor my yoga classes to the kids who are attending.

This group was so fun! We giggled, laughed, challenged ourselves, worked together, and they obsessed over crafts!

3 Yin Yoga Poses for your Hips 🧘‍♀️

1. Supported Child’s Pose: this can be done with a bolster or firm pillow. This pose helps you open up your hips gently because it reduced the tension in your hip flexors and allows your pelvic floor to relax.
2. Supported Butterfly Pose: this pose brings in an external rotation of your hips, opens up your inner thighs and promotes further pelvic floor relaxation.
3. Reclined Deer Pose: this pose brings together both internal and external rotation of your hips, releases tension in your glutes (and hips) and improves hip mobility.

3 amazing poses that can bring relief to tight hips or for people who sit all day. Give them a try and let me know how you feel!
