Holy cow! What a weekend!

Gracie and Tequila finished on their dressage score to place 1st!

Hollynn and Aspen added 1 rail in SJ to finish 3rd, after sitting in 1st after dressage and XC!

Lola finished on her dressage score to place 4th!

Maya and Liam added one rail to her score, and rode one of the hardest XC courses this pair has seen!

Super proud of all 4 of these girls! They have all been putting in the work and the effort is finally showing through!

I can’t wait to see what the rest of the season has in store!

I’m starting to toss around the idea of finding Shorty a home where she can continue to compete. Due to my life changes, I just don’t have the time that she deserves. This isn’t an easy decision and I will be picky for her perfect fit.

16.1/16.2 hands tall

Shorty has competed through Novice and has schooled through Training level. She is quite capable of moving up, would just need to get back into the groove.

She is a sensitive mare who needs a rider who is tactful.

She is a forward ride, but also needs a steady leg to support her along. She does need someone with confidence, but has packed around younger kids through 2’6.

I’d love to see her continue in the eventing world, but I could also see her stepping into the jumper ring.

About a week ago, Sylvie, Jake and I made a trip to Elm Creek to pick up these 2 boys.

Sylvie picked out a cute little 3 yr old gelding, now named Rio. He’s such a curious little guy! Excited to watch these 2 grow together!

I picked up a BIG guy. He is also a 3 yr old. He’s more on the timid side, but last night we made great progress for his first touches and scratches.
I’m thinking his name will be Arlo as he’s a big dinosaur.

I can’t wait to see how these gelding progress 🩵

Ms. Tequila deserves a spotlight!

She had been my feedlot horse for the past 2 years, but Gracie needed a horse to ride due to a lameness. Tequila got moved to the barn beginning of March, got an English saddle thrown on and started her journey to becoming an eventing pony.

She also has taken up Fox Hunting, and though I’ve not gotten to ride her in the field yet, just watching her keep her riders safe, puts a smile on my face.

She’s a mare that’s game to do any job put infront of her and takes everything in stride.

Can’t wait to watch this mare continue to grow and develop into a solid all around mount. 🩵
