What a GAME! 🔥

Our Lady Colonels battled their way to a 29-19 win over Parry McCluer in a high-scoring showdown that stayed competitive ALL THE WAY through the 7th inning. This was a true back-and-forth fight, with both teams trading the lead multiple times before Fleming pulled away from a 18-19 lead by Parry McCluer in the 7th.

We had many positives on the night but some big-time performances led the way! A. Ayala dominated at the plate with 5 RBIs on 4 hits, while Coles came up clutch driving in 6 runs. M. Obi added two STRONG hits as well! K. Morton, I. Ayala, A. Dixon, Z. Wilson, L. Walker followed up by showing patience, discipline and the importance of capitalizing on every opportunity while at the plate. They kept each other going while stacking base hit on top of base hit.

Proud of the grit, resilience, and never-quit mindset shown from start to finish. A hard-fought win all around! 🥎💛💙

DOUBLE HEADER CLEAN SWEEP 🧹🔥

28 total runs on the night by our Lady Colonels!

Game 1 Recap: HUGE 22-7 comeback win after trailing early! Breniyah C. led the charge with 4 RBIs, while Izzy A. and Mya O. came through with BIG hits in a huge third inning rally. Zakira W. added key RBIs and pressure on the bases, and Kyleigh M. showed patience at the plate with multiple walks. Total team effort with aggressive base running and a big offensive explosion to take control.

Game 2 Recap: 6-2 win to seal the sweep! Strong outing in the circle from Ani A., keeping things under control defensively w/ the help of Londyn W. behind the plate. Charlize R., Mya O., and Izzy A. each contributed RBIs, while the defense stayed locked in with a clean, error-free game.

BRINGING HOME THE W 🤠

Our Lady Colonels got on the board in the top of the first inning after A. Dixon singled, scoring one run, Z. Wilson singled, scoring two runs, C. Rock drew a walk, scoring one run, and U. Moyer was struck by a pitch, driving in a run.

Colonels scored seven runs on three hits in the top of the fourth inning. Moyer singled, scoring one run, Ayala singled, scoring one run, a wild pitch scored two runs, Morton drew a walk, scoring one run, S. Hodnett drew a walk, scoring one run, and D. Crump drew a walk, scoring one run.

A. Ayala began the game for William Fleming Colonels. The hurler gave up two hits and four runs (zero earned) over five innings, striking out eight and walking six.

Rock led the Colonels with two runs batted in from the number seven spot in the lineup. Dixon and Ayala each stole multiple bases for William Fleming Colonels. William Fleming Colonels ran wild on the base paths, piling up 10 stolen bases for the game.

IT’S TIIIIIIIIIME! Spring sports are officially here and Softball tryouts start tomorrow afternoon. Tryouts will be held on the softball field from 3:45-6:00 PM. The activity bus will run tomorrow as well.

Softball szn is loading — it’s time to get ready!

Starting next Tuesday until the last week of February: YES — we’re taking it outside! January open fields are strictly on Tuesdays & then we will move to Monday and Wednesday in February.

Bundle up, come ready to work, and make sure you’ve met all requirements listed to attend Open Fields before showing up.

We’re excited to see the commitment, the effort, and the mindset as we gear up for the season ahead. Let’s set the tone early 💪🏽💙

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT 📣

Due to an unforeseen circumstance beyond our control, we regret to inform you that today’s camp session has been cancelled. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

We’ve absolutely LOVED having each and every one of you with us this week. Your energy, effort, and excitement made this camp so special! ✨

We’re already looking ahead to Part Two in the fall, which will focus on offensive skills and baserunning — and we hope you’ll join us again when those dates are announced!

In the meantime, we wish you an amazing rest of your summer and an even better school year ahead! 🎒🌞
