In Queering Cannabis, we work with the plant intentionally.

We ask questions.

I keep thinking about this.

The river of justice does not stop.

It flowed through the people who came before us.
It flows through us now.
It will flow through those who come after.

As Amos wrote, as Dr. King reminded us, let justice roll down like waters.

And here is what I know for sure:
We cannot pour from an empty vessel.

So when we gather for ceremony,
when we let ourselves be held,
when we choose softness over armor,
we are not checking out.

We are restoring outselves for what's ahead.

Let me be real

In times like these, when communities are being targeted and fear feels overwhelming, the impulse is to armor. To harden. To push through.

But here is what I know: They are counting on our Depletion.
