Cinthia won her fight last weekend at Infinity Muay Thai!!. Very happy w the progress she’s making only a year and a half in to her fight career. We have got Chad, Evan and Hailey all fighting on the Mitten Muay Thai card this Saturday in Clinton Township. LFG!!!

Another great night of fights this past Saturday at mitten Muay Thai 4!!! True Love Muay Thai had 2 fighters on this card. Chad started off tonight and did a good job in the first round, staying moving, getting comfortable and starting to set up some combos also had a really nice clean sweep. In the second and third round his opponent landed some heavy punches which I think ultimately just gassed Chad out and took away some of the energy. He finished all three rounds, which is a win right there to be able to step in the ring, fight for six minutes, walk out on your own 2 feet, but ultimately Losing by decision. With a couple adjustments, he will be back better than ever.

 Jared was next up and like always came with bad intentions. His opponent wanted a pressure fight, and he got one. Jared used all his weapons ending the first round in the clinch where he landed a knee to his opponents eye that opened up a big cut, the second and third we’re just downhill for his opponent from there. Getting saved by the bell in the second round from punches, and taking a standing eight count in the third secured Jared a 30-27 victory winning every round.

We’d like to thank everybody at the gym for all their support and help Training. We are finishing out the year with Haley fighting in Chicago Dec 7th coming off a big win securing a kickboxing belt a couple weeks ago.

These 2 ladies got it done on Friday night at the Motor City Casino securing 2 wins and bringing a belt back to the gym. Cynthia had a dominant performance in her first fight ever! She stuck to the game plan landing punch and kick combos at will never really being in danger controlling the whole fight securing her a unanimous 30-27 across the board victory. Hailey really came to life in this fight, rose to the occasion against an undefeated opponent and in true Muay Thai fashion got stronger and stronger as the rounds progressed. I had her losing the first 2 rounds but winning the 3rd 4th and 5th with heart, desire and the will to win. Landing the big shots she did in the 5th and showing dominance is what I think sealed the deal and secured the win. Hailey is now the women’s flyweight kickboxing champion of Michigan. The smile on her face says it all. I am just honored and very lucky to pass down my 20 years of Muay Thai experience to my students and see their success. Truely grateful thanks to everyone that helped and supports us at True Love Muay Thai. 2 more fights to end the year coming up in Detroit at Mitten Muay Thai and Chicago w Maximus Promotions. 🙏
