States ✅

Sorry for the incredibly late post! Although we didn’t win anything this year, state championships was still overall a pretty awesome day. Our robot, Icarus, performed well in competition with some very impressive bots, and the team had a great day. We had so much fun meeting new people and teams (post with those pictures coming soon), and our ducks were a huge hit. As this was the close of our competition season, we want to take a second to thank our incredible coaches, Coach Dave and Coach Ek, as well as all of our mentors. We can’t wait to see everyone next fall for the 2026/2027 season!

League Tournament ✅
Yesterday was an absolute whirlwind of a day, and was one of, if not the best competitions we’ve ever had. We entered the meet ranked 3rd, and despite our rank fluctuating throughout the day we were still selected by to be their alliance partner. That alliance proved to be one of the best decisions either team made that day, as we came away the winning alliance and were undefeated throughout playoffs. Along with this insane win we also received the control award for the first time.

We want to thank the Bayonne FTC teams, and all of the volunteers who made this event possible. We also want to thank Coach Dave and Coach Ek, along with all of our mentors for making us the team we are today. Next stop: States!! We’ll see y’all on March 15!!!

Last Saturday we held our 2nd annual Women in STEM Day Brunch in honor of UNESCO’s International Women and Girls in STEM Day. Yesterday’s meet went better than any of us could have expected. Our new autonomous (thank you program team) was able to score 6 artifacts plus pick up an additional 3 to start tele op, and our portfolio won us the inspire award. On top of all of that we ended the day in 4th place league, the best we’ve done in years. Thank you to for hosting the event, and we can’t wait to see everyone at leagues!
