🔥 This weekend marks the beginning of a new chapter as Lady Onyx 2.0 takes the field at the Busch Classic! 🥎
Several of our former teammates have moved on to bigger and better opportunities, and we couldn't be prouder of them. As they chase their next adventures, our veterans have been hard at work building something special—recruiting women from recreational leagues, welcoming players back after raising families, and even convincing a few self-proclaimed retirees to lace up their cleats one more time.
Together, we've built an all-new Arkansas Women's D team, creating even more opportunities for women to compete in USSSA softball. For some, this will be their very first competitive tournament. For others, it's the chance to compete at the next level, return to a game they've missed, or discover a new passion and community.
Our team is made up of women from every stage of life—moms, grandmothers, wives, youth coaches, teachers, recent graduates, and everything in between—all coming together from across Arkansas with one common goal.
As we begin this journey, we're focused on growing as players, competing at higher levels, building lifelong friendships, and supporting one another every step of the way. And above all else, beyond the wins and losses, we're here to celebrate, encourage, and cheer on every female athlete who steps onto the field.
What better way to celebrate America's birthday than doing what we love, with teammates who are quickly becoming family? ❤️🤍💙🇺🇸
