This team has my whole heart. 🥎🖤💛
I don’t think people always understand how much these girls become family. As a coach, you don’t just teach them how to hit, field, pitch, run bases, or compete. You watch them grow. You watch them gain confidence. You see their tears, their smiles, their struggles, their breakthroughs, and all the little moments in between that make you love them like they are your own.
I truly love each and every one of my girls with everything in me. Every personality, every laugh, every hug, every hard day, every big win, every lesson learned — all of it has meant more to me than I could ever put into words.
I hate that things ever have to change. I hate that seasons end, that girls grow up, that some move up, and some move on. It is honestly breaking my heart knowing that this team has to change, because if I could, I would keep this exact group together forever. (One player included who is not in the picture ).
This team has been so special to me. Not just because of the softball, but because of the love, the bond, the memories, and the family we built together. I am so proud of these girls, and I will always carry this season and this team in my heart.
