Saturday night at Wilmot Raceway was a night I’ll never forget.

I ended up flipping the car six times and spent the night in the ER until 3 AM. Thankfully, I’m doing fine and just a little sore, but the damage to the car will most likely bring my season to an early end.

It’s heartbreaking to see everything we’ve worked so hard for come to an end this way.

The racing program for tonight - Saturday, August 1 - featuring the Bumper to Bumper IRA Sprints has been cancelled due to rain.

Plymouth Dirt Track Racing will be back in action next Saturday, August 8 for kids coin and candy drop, coloring contest, and glow stick giveaway night featuring the Super Six Late Model Series.

After a tough dose of bad luck last weekend at Wilmot Raceway, we’re ready to bounce back! Between losing the battery and the front wing posts ripping out of the bottom of the wing, it wasn’t the night we were hoping for. The team has everything fixed and race-ready, and we’ll be back in action this Saturday, June 27th, at Wilmot. We’re excited to get back on track and chase some better results! 🏁

Wilmot Raceway Recap | June 20, 2026

It was a rough night on Saturday for me and the team at Wilmot raceway

In the heat race, the engine fell out of gear, forcing us to play catch-up from the start and resulting in a last-place finish.

We were hoping for better luck in the feature, but unfortunately our night ended early when the battery exploded while we were on track. We were scored 11th with a DNF.

To make matters worse, my brother’s engine also let go during the night, making it a frustrating evening for the whole team. Nights like these are never easy, but that’s racing. We’ll work through the issues, make the necessary repairs, and come back ready for the next one.

I want to sincerely thank everyone who stopped by the trailer at the end of the night to check on us and see what happened. The support from fellow racers, fans, friends, and family means more than you know.

We’ll get everything repaired and be ready to get back after it at the next race.

🏁Sycamore speedway 5/9 recap🏁
Saturday night was a great night at the track with improvements being made throughout the entire program. After starting 10th in the feature, we were able to bring the car home in 9th while continuing to build speed and consistency each time we hit the track.
The car felt strong in the heat race, and the extra practice sessions gave us valuable time to work on setup adjustments before the feature. We’re continuing to learn more every week and make progress in the right direction!
