If you have been thinking about getting a trapline dog here you go!!

The Jack-Dales have arrived. Last evening Abby gave birth to six puppies. Three females and three males. All appear to be doing well. Art Lee and I hope to get these dogs in the hands of dedicated, full time trappers/hunters. They have the potential to be very good trapline/coyote decoy dogs.

ALERT: Our Top Dog bait will be discontinued with the batch we are currently bottling. I have had increasing difficulty in obtaining enough base material to make any significant quantities of this great bait. Our remaining stock is being bottled only in 9 ounce bottles. I will have some with me at the NTA convention this week and remaining inventory will be available through Murray's Lures. I am working on a replacement for this product and will make it available when it has been thoroughly tested. If you haven't tried our 'Cat Cream bait, give it a try. I am sure you will be very pleased with its preformance.

It's that time of year: Grinding and tainting the base for Houben's 'Cat Cream. Its a labor intensive, stinky process. I still use a "small batch method" which requires lots of buckets but, it allows for though stirring and blending of the meat and bait solution.

Part of my bobcat catch put up on Eddie Taylor's two piece bobcat stretchers and dried on my forced air system. 'Cat were caught on Houben's 'Cat Cream Bait, Lynx Cat gland lure and Number 5 (not yet available to the public.)
