We had our 1st test of a Smash Tournament that was open to all!

High schoolers, GA's, former alumni, college students (from other states)all showed up to give it a go. We are excited to bring these to Rio Grande Esports and hope to have more people coming and more events throughout the summer and during the semester.

Shout out to PBJohn (Smash Coach) for putting this all together.

We want to welcome another to Rio Grande Esports!

Thomas Rose will be joining our Smash Ultimate Team! We are excited to have the captain of the Chillicothe Team joining us, and bring all his skills with him. Let's give a chant for King DeDeDe!

You know what I like even more about this, it gives many a look into Rio Esports...

Wow! What a day! We had 13 High Schools and Middle Schools join us for the Rio Grande Esports Invitational. 47 students along with their teachers and parents packed the arena. It was amazing to speak with you all and share the world of gaming with the next generation.

Thank you to the teams Gallia Academy High School Gallia Academy Middle School Valley High School Esports Chillicothe High School and Jackson High School Esports.

Do not forget the Rio Invitation for High Schools/Middle Schools is this Saturday! 10am, Free Food! Winners Plaques will be given out. SMASH, Overwatch, Rocket League and Marvel Rivals will be the games. So show up and let's have some fun. We will also be talking scholarships for next Fall. See you then.
