The 12U Bubba Baseball National team closed out their Bubba careers in the most fitting way possible— Lenz Mother’s Day Tournament Champions (finishing the championship game a week later)
An emotional win, made even more emotional knowing it was the last time these boys would walk off the field wearing a Bubba jersey.
Over the last 4 years, this team has done something truly special—80 wins, 14 losses, and 10 championships. But the numbers only tell part of the story.
What makes this team so incredible is that they’re not just talented ballplayers—they’re a group of boys from the same town, the same neighborhoods, who grew up together, competed together, and became family.
To the players—thank you for your grit, your heart, and the memories that will last a lifetime.
To the families—thank you for the sacrifices. The missed family vacations, the endless weekends at the field, the juggling of schedules, and the time away from siblings at home. None of this happens without you. Thank you for believing in the Bubba Baseball’s goal has always been to develop young local players and prepare them to be successful as they transition to the big field at 13U and beyond, no matter what jersey they wear after 12u.
Watching this chapter close is bittersweet. We’re so proud of everything these boys have accomplished, but even more proud of the young men they’re becoming.
We can’t wait to see where life and baseball take each of them next… but one thing is certain—
Once a Bubba Bulldog, always a Bubba Bulldog.
