Unfortunately we have been experiencing motor issues since we hit the track for Hotlaps. Unable to figure out the issue in time so we will be starting and parking to prevent further issues. I hate it worked out this way for my first race in the car & apologize to all of you who came out to watch & support me. Hopefully we can figure out the issue soon. This thing is way too fun to drive to start and park. Still managed to qualify 6th out of 18 with what felt like a 602 motor lol

Dream come true moment for me.. Finally was able to get my seat put in the 525 & cut some laps to get my feet wet & holy 💩! Hands down the most fun I’ve had in the 21 years I’ve been racing. Huge thanks to Chuck Melton, Travis Covey for inviting us & Matthew Duggins for everything he does for me. Still can’t believe I finally got to wheel one of these things. Super thankful for this opportunity & looking forward to Saturday at the Ship! ⛽️🆙

Unfortunately Mother Nature got us again last night at Bo’s Speed Palace.. August has been consistent with rain every weekend.

We had the transponder in this week & hotlap/qualified quickest and was sitting in the chute fixing to roll for the main and the bottom fell out. Was looking forward to going 20 but it was a no go.

We got her washed back up today & back on jack stands.

Back at Oak Level Raceway tonight! 🔥

Race recap from this weekend at Oak Level Raceway & Friendship Motor Speedway.

Friday we took the transponder off the car thinking it was going to rain & forgot to put it back on for Hotlaps & unfortunately for us they took Hotlaps as our qualifying due to the rain shower we got, so that put us starting at the tail of the field 👎🏼 managed to bring it to 6th in 10 laps. Frustrating night for sure.

Saturday we were 2nd quickest in Hotlaps & qualified 5th. Feature time we were pretty good I felt like.. got stuck on the bottom just biding my time & dude in front of me done everything but spin out and I caught him with the RF sending me around. Had to go to the tail & after that it was a survival race, caution after caution. A lot of good cars got tore up cause some of their feet were working faster than their brain lol after half the field wrecked out & I dodged what felt like 8 wrecks, we were running 4th & ended up finishing 3rd. I felt like we definitely had a top 5 car if all cars didn’t wreck out.

Rough start to the weekend but not as bad as it could’ve been so definitely thankful for that.

Huge thanks to Matt, my wife Lauren for always being there & all of our partners who get us up & down the roads every weekend. We couldn’t do it without all of you.

Race Recap from Natural Bridge Saturday. 🏁

First off I want to shout out & thank the few that helped us last week after blowing our motor. Without you guys it wouldn’t have been possible! Chuck Melton Michael Tesh Randy Pfaff

We qualified 5th out of 18 602s, shortly after taking the green I picked up a bad chatter/vibration in the RF and was uncertain what it was but caused me to drive conservative not wanting to mow the wall down. Fortunately I was able to hang on for a 5th. Realized after the race was over the bolt in the bracing on the RF had broke and was causing the bracing to get caught under the tire causing it to chatter, thankfully it didn’t cut the tire down.

Had pretty good speed just unfortunate circumstances.
