11 years ago today me and my son won the Catt Lake Wateree bass tournament and received a check for $1480.00. I’m retired from tournament fishing and now I’m the tournament director for the Catt Lake Wateree Trail and today I had the pleasure to write a check for $2760.00 to another father / son team. We have a number of father/sons, father/daughters, husband/wifes, grandfathers/grandchildren and long time buddies teams fishing with us. Congratulations to Colden and Bubba Baker on their win yesterday in the Lake Wateree Open Series on a raining and cold day. They had a 5 fish limit at 20.90 pounds. This made 2 wins in a row. Donald Hinson & Butch Williams have been on a roll this Spring at Lake Wateree! 3 CATT Spring Events win along with their Wateree Open wins they have taken home a total of $12,540.00 this Spring at Lake Wateree! At the Lake Wateree Spring Final, they weighed in 5 bass at 19.13 lbs taking 1st Place $2,965.00!
