What a fun weekend with this team. They showed grit and energy and never complained once about the weather. Although we could not play the championship game due to rain, these girls put themselves in a position as the highest seed going into the silver bracket championship and ended up champions. They have continued to trust the process, work hard and do everything us coaches have asked of them. I thoroughly enjoyed spending time again with this Hornet family. Coming from Scenic City and competing with D1 talent, to heading to Salem for this Mid Atlantic Championship this team is starting to get "it". 9 games in 4 days and they fought hard everyday. To have the "it" factor is something you cannot coach. Onto Hagerstown, MD next weekend where they can showcase their talent to all the college coaches attending.
