Spartans: this week is the annual Bell Game Canned Food Drive! Donate non-perishable items all week at school, or bring them to the gate at the Bell Game! The student who donates the most items wins a prize and community members can receive free admission to the game with a donation of 6 or more items!

College Update - Luke Bailey, Park University
Luke finished three out of the five meets where Park competed as the #2 runner for the Pirates. He placed 6th at William Jewell on Sept. 5th with an 18:18 5K to start the season, followed by a 28:10 8K at Emporia. After his 8K PR of 27:33.8 at Haskell, Luke came back with a solid 28:15 at the Mid-States. He concluded the season with a 15th-place finish at the AMC meet in Henderson, TN to help Park to a 3rd-place team finish in the 9-team meet.

College Update - Mary Beth Bailey, Park Universtiy.
After her 20:08 PR at Haskell on Oct. 10th, Mary Beth Bailey finished her sophomore CC season for Park University in great form. On Oct. 24th, she broke the 20 minute barrier with a new PR of 19:46 for 5K at the Mid-States Classic hosted by Southwestern College in Winfield, KS. On Nov. 6, she capped off the season with a 9th-place finish at the American Midwest Conference Championships in Henderson, TN. That finish made her an all-conference runner.

The Richmond Spartans hosted the 2015 MRVC Cross Country Championship at Southview Park. Lexington competed in cross country for the first time this season - bringing total MRVC squads to nine and three in the MRVC East.
