We’re honored to share that Richmond Hill Stars has been selected as a runner-up recipient of the Powering Her Dreams Grant, presented by Georgia Power in partnership with Georgia Bulldogs Sports Marketing! ⭐🏀

Being selected is another incredible recognition of what is being built for girls basketball right here in Richmond Hill.

This support will go directly back into creating more opportunities, experiences, and resources for the girls in our program.

Thank you to Georgia Power and the University of Georgia for investing in girls sports and helping programs like ours continue to grow.

Every dollar goes right back into the program and the girls who make Richmond Hill Stars what it is. ❤️⭐

The girls weren’t the only ones competing on Competition Night. 😅🏀

We crowned our Parent Free-Throw Champions, March Madness Champion and wrapped up the night by raffling off prizes to the girls as one more way to celebrate all the work they put in this summer.

A huge thank you to the parents, families, sponsors and supporters who helped make nights like this possible. The basketball matters, but the community around these girls is what makes Stars special.

Our 2026 Competition Night champions ⭐️🏀

The girls competed for free-throw and shooting championships across each age group, and these players came out on top:

🏆 1st/2nd Grade Free-Throw Champion: Esme
🏆 1st/2nd Grade Shooting Champion: Noelle

The 2 youngest in the program at 5 and barely 7 🔥

🏆 3rd Grade Free-Throw Champion: Madelyn
🏆 3rd Grade Shooting Champion: Kelsie

Kelsie is a back-to-back champion 🔥

🏆 4th Grade Free-Throw Champion: Kaelyn
🏆 4th Grade Shooting Champion: Kaelyn

Kaelyn completed the sweep for the second straight year, winning both championships in back-to-back seasons. 🔥

𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗱 #𝟯 𝗶𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 ⭐️

KB Sports has ranked our Richmond Hill Stars 2033 team third among all 2033 teams for the 2026 season.

Rankings at this age are not the goal, but not too bad for a school district-based team competing against programs that pull players from across entire regions.

These girls represented Richmond Hill at national events, battled established travel programs and proved they belong on the floor with anybody. We did not always have our full roster together this season, but when this group is at full strength, they have shown they can be a serious problem.

We are proud of how far they have come, but even more excited about where they are headed.

2026. What a year.

Nearly 80 Richmond Hill girls came together to work, compete, grow, and represent their community, including on the national stage.

We closed out the season with our End-of-Year Competition Night, crowning champions, giving away prizes, eating plenty of pizza, and celebrating everything these girls accomplished.

They became better players, stronger competitors, and a closer basketball family.

Thank you to every coach, sponsor, parent, and family who helped make this season possible.

To think this is still just the beginning.

⭐ COMPETITION NIGHT IS TONIGHT! ⭐

Tonight, we bring every grade together to celebrate a summer of hard work, growth, and competing on the national level.

We’ll crown our free throw and shooting champions, raffle off prizes for the girls, enjoy some food, and celebrate just how far this program has come.

These girls have worked, competed, traveled, learned, and grown all summer long. Tonight is about recognizing them and having some fun together.
