Congratulations Coach Sami!
Richland High School is proud to announce the hiring of Samantha Dufault as the new Head Coach of the Bomber Girls Wrestling program. Dufault becomes the first official head coach in the history of the school’s girls wrestling program.
A proud Bomber alumna and former wrestler in the Richland program, Dufault brings both experience and passion to the position. Over the past four years, she has served as an assistant coach for the Bomber Girls Wrestling team, playing a key role in the growth and success of the program. During her time on staff, the Bombers captured their first-ever Girls Wrestling State Championship, and Dufault was instrumental in helping coach the program’s first individual girls state champion.
Her deep connection to Richland wrestling, combined with her leadership and dedication to student-athletes, made her a natural choice to lead the program into its next chapter.
“I’m incredibly honored to have the opportunity to serve as the first head coach for girls wrestling at Richland High School,” said Dufault. “This was a decision I approached with a great deal of thought and faith, and I feel truly blessed to continue being part of a program that means so much to me"
Richland High School Athletic Director Adrian Ochoa added, “Samantha has already had a tremendous impact on our girls wrestling program. Her passion for Richland wrestling, commitment to our student-athletes, and her success in the program as a coach already, make her the ideal person to lead the Bombers into the future. We are excited to see the program continue to thrive under her leadership.”
Please join us in congratulating Coach Dufault as she begins this exciting new chapter for Bomber Girls Wrestling.
