In the world of young athletes, the journey is full of ups and downs. It's easy for them to be hard on themselves when mistakes happen or when they face a challenge they aren't yet skilled at. But here at Let's Talk PMA and TruElite Basketball Academy, we're changing the narrative!

As a Mental Toughness Coach, I, Jessica Parnell, alongside our dedicated team, focus on instilling a key message: Every challenge is a golden opportunity. We teach our athletes, coaches, and parents the importance of a Positive Mental Attitude (PMA) in both sports and life.

🏀 At TruElite, we host a 'Mindset Power 30' session weekly, which has already shown incredible results in fostering growth and resilience among our athletes. They aren’t just training; they’re enjoying the process of becoming better, and it’s a joy to witness their progress and enthusiasm.

Happy women’s day to all the amazing women out there. It’s an honor to be a woman, a challenge and a blessing. As women we are blessed with the heart strength that equals to what some would say is man’s muscle strength. I’m honored to be part of the team we call humanity to share this world along men and women that do such amazing things to get through the lessons of life. I’m honored to be called a wife, a Mother, a grandmother, daughter and sister. Being a woman fills my heart with love, sadness, compassion, fear, joy and all the feelings in between and because of that I am stronger and can do anything I set my mind and heart to do. Thank you to my tribe of women that carry me when I need a softer heart and that fun girl time that only we get. Happy day to us and all that share in this crazy world along side us.

🎉 Happy New Year! 🎉 What an exciting time to embrace new beginnings and possibilities. For me, the arrival of the new year is a reminder of the power of choice. It's not about what I have to do, but what I choose to do.

In 2024, I'm choosing to show up for myself and the people in my life every single day. Showing up means more than just being present; it's a conscious decision to express and accept Love, Peace, Joy, and Gratitude. Each day is an opportunity to be the very best version of myself.
