PSA!!!!!!

We are a small business, that is trying to give back to the community, some may like it some may not. I am tired of making post of people taking advantage of the things that we try to do. We offer student discounts, we donate a ton, we have not charged a activation fee, EVER, we have always ate it. We do not charge you the credit card processing fee. Yet we have people that want to let other people into the gym without paying the Daily rate of $8.00. We have people letting people in to TAN and they all go into the room at the same time, with only one member with a tanning package.

Here is the deal. Cheat the system and when I catch you I will cancel your membership and charge for the the people you allowed into the tanning room or the gym without paying. I am tired of trying to be nice and putting my own money into the gym for it to survive.

You want nice things take care of the things that you have. You want to not have a Gym in Rich Hill, keep doing the wrong thing.

I am tired of fighting with people over this and the benefits of what a gym can do! I have heard to many times from Coaches, and parents in this community that you don't need weights!!!

Keep doing you then!!! PS.... PSSS....PSSSS....PSSSS... PICK UP YOUR WEIGHTS, WE ARE NOT YOUR PARENTS THIS IS NOT YOUR HOUSE!!!! STOP BEING LAZY!!!!!!

OH AND STOP DROPPING YOUR DUMBBELLS AS WELL, I WON'T FIX THE HOLE BECAUSE EVERYTIME IM HERE SOMEBODY IS DROPPING WEIGHTS BECAUSE THEY THINK THEY ARE A BIG DOG AND CAN DO 2 REPS WITH THE BIG WEIGHT AND DROP IT INSTEAD OF BEING A MAN AND MAN HANDLING IT....

We have some new items that will be in the gym once we start the gym wars back up. We have a bench block to help with sticking points in your bench. It is also used for training a little heavier, the block is on the bar so that you don't go down as far. We also have a cheaper version of the Sling Shot. This takes pressure of the shoulders so that you can train heavier. We also have a squat wedge. This is to help getting down to squat depth. I will not have these out in the gym. I will use them when we do gym wars or if I am training someone.

We are going to cancel the Sat Gym Wars for now. With prom and track underway a lot of saturdays will be track. So we will bring it back starting the end of may or early June. I may even switch it to a weekday since everyone will be out of school.

Thank you to everyone who came out! Thank you for supporting the dedication to make you better! Thank you for the ones that want to learn and put time into making yourself a better athlete and person! It won’t show tomorrow or next week but keep committed we are in a marathon not a sprint!

Squat Warmup 2x15 just the bar
1 set bar 15
1 set 65 lbs x 15
1 set 115x15

Leg extensions 3 sets 40lbs
1 leg 15 reps second leg 15 reps both legs 15 sets

Bulgarian DB split squats
3x15 each leg

5 kids came out 5 kids wanted to get better. I even had a kid leave because gym wars was stupid. I’m sorry that you feel that way and that you know more than me. This is not about how much you can lift or how strong you are! It’s simple it’s the basics of weightlifting!!! Controlling the weight getting to the right depth squeezing the muscle! It is not how fast you can do it! It is not a place to make fun of others! It is not a place for you to tell me you can do that easy!

It is a place that we have fun we work the muscle we squeeze the muscle! It hurts it’s painful yet it will be rewarding! So thank you for the ones that came out and supported this idea. We will get better we will get stronger!

Next Gym Wars is up in the air! I will be going to Monet for the state powerlifting meet, to cheer on some of the Rich Hill kids that are going!

Next Saturday I will post updates on how these kids are doing!
