Congratulations to senior Kaleb Scott for signing his letter of intent to continue his academic and athletic career at NCAA Division II Colorado Christian University! Kaleb will be running both cross country and track for the Cougars and plans to study either youth ministry or apologetics.

Kaleb has played a key role in our cross country team's state runner-up finishes the past two seasons. This past spring, he also placed fourth in Division 3 in the 800 meter run at the WIAA State Track & Field Championships. He currently holds the school record in the 800 meter run with a time of 1:56.09.

Congratulations ladies!!

🏆 STATE CHAMPIONS 🏆

Rib Lake has claimed the WIAA Division 5 Volleyball State Championship with a 3-1 win over Newman Catholic! This is Rib Lake’s first team state title in any sport since 1999, and it is the first time a girls team has won a state championship in school history!

Congratulations to the team and coaches on such an incredible accomplishment! We know how much hard work has gone into making this possible!

We’re bringing home a gold ball!

Congratulations to the Rib Lake-Prentice Hawks boys cross country team on earning the state runner-up title at the WIAA Division 3 Boys Cross Country State Championships!

This state runner-up team consists of Henry Regier, Truman Smith, Kaleb Scott, Seamus Highfill, Jackson Schutt, Heston Hueckman, and Jeremy Wiitala.

Coaches include Bryan Regier, Cole Bischel, Peter Meyer, Jack Regier, and Kevin Weiss.

Congratulations to the team on another great season! You’ve made your mark on Rib Lake athletics, bringing home invitational championships, conference championships, sectional championships, and now another state-runner up trophy.

Wish our Hawks good luck as they compete in the WIAA State Cross Country Championships tomorrow at Ridges Golf Course in Wisconsin Rapids! The Division 3 boys race will be the first of the day, starting at 12:00 PM.

If you plan on attending State, tickets must be purchased ahead of time online using GoFan Ticketing (https://gofan.co/app/school/WIAA2). Admission is $9.00 per person plus processing fees. All tickets must be redeemed on a mobile device.

Spectators should park at Wisconsin Rapids High School (1801 16th Street South) or the Grand Rapids Lions Club (2411 36th Street South). Parking is $10 per car/van and includes a shuttle to Ridges Golf Course where the meet is held. There will be no parking at Ridges Golf Course.

98.3 FM will be providing live coverage of the meet.
