To our pickleball friends and family: Supernovas Pickleball is hosting a unique team fundraiser for Black Horse Forge and team training on June 20 where you'll get to play in an event that simulates an actual U.S. Legends Pickleball League showdown event! We will draft you into 4 teams and you'll play team battles against each team. Each team will have a player-coach, and there will be swag and raffles and play for 3.5-4.5+ levels on each team, so this is open to everyone! Our event coaches are Petr Minar Katherine Gillis Danny Bretherton and Sarah Bowman. This will be a competitive and friendly non DUPR event. Four of our region's best and brightest young guns were repping Northern VA in a regional event, and we were excited to outfit them for their competition! We *almost* had enough shirt sizes to go around, and what resulted is one of our favorite pics of the Year!!! We ❤️ you Ryan Kane, Alison Klink, Alex Spancake, and Christie Barker!

NEWS AND RESULTS! Your 2025 SuperNovas showed up large at the Franklin US Open Pickleball Championships this past week! 9 of our 14 players hit the courts in 4.5 to senior pro events. EVERYONE played phenomenally and went deep in large brackets and many came home with bling.

First shout out goes to Andy Biederman who gave Ivan Lendl his ONLY loss to take gold in mixed pro. Debbie Anderson Seabold brought home silver with her partner Katherine Gillis in women's masters pro, and rocked the court with fellow NOVA Joseph Apodaca. . Danny Bretherton took a gold and bronze in two events with Rocketeer Derek Biendl. Cindy Kuragami and Madi Eden took bronze in 5.0. The amazing Margie Nicholson earned silver in 5.0 women's dubs and also fought through brackets of 64 teams to vie for bronze in 2 events. . Rob Vieyra and Cheryl Muraszewski McDonough were rock solid in their events, going deep into tough, tough brackets. Team owner Dani Mackey is happy to have played 4.5 and won a match. :)

All in all, dozens of U.S. Legends Pickleball League players and team owners were there supporting each other and taking home medals. Most importantly, we build family, extended family, and "framily."

Love and am proud of each and every one.
