There's no doubt that Jiu-jitsu has its moments where comfortability is a premium. Being squished by a heavy opponent, getting into tight submissions, or even just being in an awkward spot can be hard to go through.

When we see the other side of what we do, like learning and improving. That is when the discomfort and pain and frustration comes to a new light.

We have a new announcement!

Our schedule has changed and we can finally do more classes! We now have the park reserved for three days a week, from 4:30 to 7:30 pm, every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday evening. This is to be in effect next week, Tuesday the 30th of June!

This is a great expansion compared to our sad schedule we used to have and im very excited to be doing more classes. The schedule also allows for kids class if there are enough participants to run one from 4:30-5:30. A full hour class for children 5-12

Adults class technically gets an extension on class time, with 5:30-7:30 being a half hour bump, but this is to help with the set up/break down process also.

Hello everybody! Its been a while since we've updated anything on this page, but we've got a bit of news about the Brazilian Jiu-jitsu group.

The most impacting news right now is that we're going to have to do meets in the park until further notice. The Prospector Inn has been nothing but helpful and fantastic to us for getting this group going. Sadly, with scheduling conflicts, and them having the need for the space that we've been using we can no longer keep the activity there. We have some things lined up to only have to do this for a short amount of time, but for now until we can get a new space, we are going to utilize public space.

Next up, even though I personally have done a horrible job of keeping the page updated, we are very active still and have some absolutely amazing people training in the group! We have participants that have been training for more than a year now and its an amazing thing that I just want to recognize. We are running strong even with this quick adversity, and nothing is stopping our group.

Tuesday will be the first day at the park, and I will be talking to current participants about what sort of schedule they'd like to see over all. This means more classes, and more roll time and im so happy to bring back more days to train.

Lastly, I'm happy to announce that our page is going to have new life brought to it. Starting soon we will have someone running the page WAY better than I have over the last year. I'm in hopes that this will bring more of a public eye to our group and encourage more people to come and try out Brazilian Jiu-jitsu.

If you want to be part of the group, but you're not sure how you'd like it, id love to give everyone whos new a free 2 week trial.
