You can purchase these during the baseball camp hours 5:00-7:30 at RCHS Baseball field August 3rd 4th and 5th

WHEN: August 3-5, 2026 (Possible 8/6/26 as a rain make-up date) 5:30pm-7:30pm each night (Check-in will begin at 5pm)

WHO: Fall 2026 3rd-8th grade male student athletes. (We are capping at first 100 campers to register) **All levels of talent are welcome!**

WHAT: Participants will be working on and learning techniques for the following skills:

Hitting

Bunting

Throwing

Fielding (Infield & Outfield)

Base Running

Sliding (Last day fun with Slip & Slide to show off this skill!)

COST: $80 per participant

Participants will also receive a RCHS Baseball Camp T-shirt. (Must register and pay by 7/15/26 deadline for size guarantee)

Rockingham County High School is proud to welcome Matt Smith as its new Head Baseball Coach.

Coach Smith and his wife, Amber, reside in Rockingham County with their two children, Mason (9) and Emma (6).

A 2006 graduate of Catawba College, Coach Smith enjoyed an outstanding collegiate baseball career, earning NCAA All-American honors and being named the South Atlantic Conference Baseball Player of the Year. He is also a 2001 graduate of Northeast Guilford High School.

Coach Smith brings 15 years of coaching experience at the youth, middle school, and high school levels. Throughout his coaching career, he has been committed to developing student-athletes both on and off the field while fostering a competitive and positive team culture.

"I'm extremely excited to have the opportunity to lead such a great program and continue the strong baseball tradition at Rockingham County High School," said Coach Smith.
