Developmental soccer academy for kids born 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016. Increasing understanding and developing a passion for the game. Some kids have natural talent, other kids have desire. We want to blend both and create a competitive environment where kids love soccer. Kids will learn positions and field positioning. They will learn to leverage their abilities and strengthen areas that they wan

t to be better at. This academy is for kids that are looking to become the best player they can individually be, but work within a group and team setting. Drills will encompass skills and athletic conditioning mostly while working with the soccer ball. This age group is critical to development. The program is not designed to replace participation in a club team, rather it can be complementary. And the program is also meant to elevate the AYSO and Rec player, and get them ready for a club program if that's the path they wish to go in, or to get them ready to dominate their next season. I have over twenty years of soccer and youth coaching experience. I played through all the soccer ranks, going from AYSO, to Club, to Olympic Development Programs, College Soccer, and some overseas professional training before settling into a marketing career. I have coached AYSO, youth club teams, high school teams, and ran college soccer camps. My passion is teaching kids that want to learn and be better at soccer. I ask from kids Energy and Effort. If those two things are in place, sessions are productive, competitive, and fun. This program is not open to everyone, and is designed to be more advanced. While it is not for the beginner player, I am willing to work with a kid who is going to give his all to be better. I am passionate. I am loud. I am South American. I love soccer. I love kids that love soccer. I will push the kids. I will teach. I will recognize their wins and call out when they can do better. I have seen too many programs where kids sit around too much. This is not it. The sessions will be divided by age categories. All session will be held at the Torrance Batting Cages Turf Fields. First session kicks off this coming Tuesday 2/21. The next session Tuesday 2/28 has two openings only. We’re keeping sessions small so we can have a focus with the players and their goals. We’re opening a Wednesday session from 6-7pm! Same location. Send a DM or email to register or inquire. AYSO, Select, All Star and Club players are the make up of our group. Boys and girls. Tactical skills are learned… some kids naturally pay attention if watching pro games and transfer the knowledge… most kids need to be taught in repetitive settings to understand how to apply their technical skills in tactical settings… this happens over time… this makes you a better player… kids that can pick this up will stand out… it’s not about trying to dribble everyone… it’s about movement and space… we will teach and show them how easy and fun soccer can be!

Some kids have natural ball skills, some quickness, some have speed, strength, etc… kids need to develop their own style of play. Not everyone is going to dribble like Messi, trick like Mbappe, outmuscle like Haaland… kids will develop into being creative or direct players, strikers or defenders, or be driving midfield forces… let’s find YOUR style and develop it.

Elevating the player skills and helping them transfer to games is what we want to achieve in the long run. We want to prepare young players to take the next jump. Be THEIR best player. Find THEIR place on the field. Enjoy the game. At this academy it’s all about touches with the soccer ball. No standing around for minutes at a time. Every session is a learning session.
