One of the hardest moments we've ever experienced as parents wasn't losing a volleyball match.

It was watching our daughter lose confidence.

After years of hard work, and days and days of tryouts, she was told she was "too short."

We watched her heart break. We watched her lose sleep.

We watched her wonder if she was good enough.

For a while...

she almost walked away from the sport she loved.

One sentence changed everything - "Your time to shine will come."

We asked her to try one more time.

One more club.

One more opportunity.

That decision changed her life.

It also became the reason Empower Volleyball exists. Our daughter not only got back her confidence, she became EMPOWERed.

Because we believe no athlete should lose confidence because someone else failed to see their potential.
