When you’re out here showing your meat on the internet…you might as well make it a financial lesson. 🤣

First ever pork shoulder smoke today. This beast is 11.77 pounds, and I grabbed it yellow-tagged for well over 30% off. I actually found THREE of them around this size, because apparently the clearance gods were smiling on me.

Do the math with me:

Instead of my wife and I dropping $60+ going out to eat one time, this one pork shoulder could easily turn into 20+ meals once it’s pulled, portioned, frozen, and used for sandwiches, bowls, tacos, eggs, nachos, or whatever else we come up with.

And the smoker? Also bought highly discounted because it was being discontinued.

So yeah…this isn’t just barbecue.

This is budget discipline.

This is meal prep.

This is generosity, because some of this is going to the neighbor.

And this is a reminder that sometimes the best “investment” isn’t flashy.

Sometimes it’s sitting in your smoker, covered in rub, making your whole damn yard smell like victory.

Eat good. Waste less. Spend smarter.

That’s the smoke plan. 🔥

Focus is exhausting.
Discipline is exhausting.
Building something that matters is exhausting.

That’s why so many people never finish.

Not because they’re incapable.
Because they underestimate how much mental weight it takes to stay locked in long enough to create something real.

The same is true with money.

People think wealth is built by big moments.
It’s not.

It’s built by staying focused when you’re tired.
By staying disciplined when the excitement wears off.
By continuing to do the work after your brain is begging you to quit.

That applies to writing a book.
That applies to getting out of debt.
That applies to building wealth.
That applies to changing your life.

Today wore me out.

But I’d rather be exhausted from building something meaningful
than energized by another day of excuses.

4 weeks or less.
That’s the goal.

Now let’s see what discipline does.

We need to stop confusing failing with failure.

You can fail an interview.
You can fail to hit a shot.
You can fail to lose a pound this week.

That doesn’t make you a failure.

Failing is a verb — something that happens.
Failure is an identity — something you accept.

They say pork & sauerkraut on New Year’s brings good luck. 🍀

Maybe it does.

But luck has never paid a bill.

This morning I’m driving my son back to college as he gets ready to start his collegiate athletic career in 10 days—and I’m proud as hell of him. Not because of luck… but because of years of preparation, discipline, and clarity.

Money works the same way.

Most people hope this year feels different.
A few people decide to get clear.

That’s my focus in 2026. Less guessing. More clarity.

Question:
What’s one area of your life you’re done leaving to “luck”?

Consistency doesn’t look impressive.

It looks boring.
It looks quiet.
It looks like still showing up when no one’s clapping.

That’s where progress actually comes from.

Your money doesn’t need a miracle.
It needs a plan.

Today’s win: look at the last 7 days and label just 3 things:

food

online spending

“random stuff”

That’s it. Awareness first. Control follows.

Discipline isn’t loud.
It’s not motivational quotes.

It’s doing the boring stuff again—especially when no one’s watching.

That’s where momentum is built.

Want to retire before 59½ without getting destroyed by penalties?

Rule 72(t) is an IRS loophole that allows you to pull money from retirement accounts early — penalty-free — if structured correctly.

This strategy is how some people shorten their working years by 3–7 years without blowing up their future.

⚠️ But if you screw it up, the IRS will come back with back taxes + penalties + interest.

This is NOT TikTok-fluff finance — it’s real strategy that requires precision.

If early retirement is even remotely on your radar, this is a rule you need to understand.

School skipped it. Your parents fumbled it. Now it’s on YOU.

Let’s be honest—nobody talks about money.
It’s some weird, unspoken rule like it’s taboo or off-limits.
“We don’t talk about money.”

WHY THE HELL NOT?!

Well, that stops right here.

I talk about money—yours, mine, all of it.
Not because I care how much you’ve got (or don’t)… but because I finally reached a place where I know I’m good. And now? I want you to be even better.

I’m not here to compete with you.
If you end up making 10X more than me, I’ll be the loudest MF in the room cheering you on.
This isn’t a contest.
It’s about you building a life where you call the shots—and your kids don’t grow up clueless like we did.

I get it because I’ve lived it. Just over a decade ago, my net worth was in the negatives.
But a few mentors over the years, dropped some truth bombs that changed everything.
They didn’t sugarcoat it—and neither will I.

Now I’m financially independent. And I built Cash Class Live™ to pass the torch—to give you what nobody gave me:
A roadmap. A wake-up call. A shot.

This is your permission to talk about money.
To fix what’s broken.
To get your sh*t together—and keep climbing ‘til you don’t have to look at price tags anymore.

And the best part?
It’s free. Raw. Real. Unfiltered. And it starts with one click.
