As we gather with family and friends to enjoy fireworks, food, and fun, let us also pause to honor the brave men and women, past and present, who have fought to protect our freedom.

At The Chosen Few, we are proud to be part of a community that represents resilience, unity, and heart felt values that echo the very foundation of our nation.

We’re not just building baseball & softball players; we’re shaping future leaders who understand the value of hard work, sacrifice, and pride in where they come from.

Before she ever held a bat, she held your hand.

Before she ever wore cleats, she ran to you barefoot in the backyard.

Before she ever stepped into the batter’s box, she stepped into your heart — and never let go.

Today, we honor the first hero in every Chosen Lady’s life: Dad.

To the fathers who throw soft toss until their arms ache,
who lace up dirty cleats with steady hands and tender hearts,
who stand strong in the stands but melt at every smile —
You are the foundation of her confidence, her courage, and her fire.

At Chosen Ladies, we use softball to shape young girls into strong young women — but it’s men like you who teach them what strength and love really look like.

You show up.
You believe in her.
You love her, whether she strikes out or hits it out of the park.

From every long drive, early morning, and whispered prayer behind the fence — we see you, we thank you, and we celebrate you.

Happy Father’s Day to the dads of our Chosen Ladies.
She may hold a glove in one hand, but she’ll always hold your heart in the other. 💖

Today, we tip our caps to the men who stand behind the game. Not in the spotlight, but in the dugouts, in the stands, and behind the scenes.

To the dads who throw countless pitches in the backyard after a long day at work.

To the ones who lace up cleats, tie batting gloves, and tie life lessons into every car ride home.

To the fathers who teach their sons to hustle hard, play fair, and never quit, not just on the field, but in life.

You are more than fans. You are the first coaches, the loudest cheerleaders, and the quiet strength that builds champions from the inside out.

At Chosen Few, we believe baseball is a tool, a sacred space where boys become men, where character is molded one inning at a time.

We know this journey wouldn’t be possible without the steady hands, patient hearts, and relentless love of our Chosen Few fathers.

From all of us at The Chosen Few Academy, thank you for the sacrifices, the support, the lessons, and the love.

As we enjoy this long weekend, let us take a moment to remember what Memorial Day is truly about.

Today, we are thankful for:

The brave men and women who gave their lives for our freedom.

The families who have sacrificed so much—your strength and resilience are deeply appreciated.

The freedoms we enjoy every day because of their service.

The values of courage, honor, and selflessness that these heroes lived by.

The opportunity to gather with loved ones in peace, thanks to their sacrifice.

Let’s remember and honor them—not just today, but always.

The Wait is Over…………

Registration is NOW OPEN!**

The moment we’ve all been waiting for has finally arrived…
Registration for the “Chosen Few Champions” is officially OPEN!**

When we first began planning, we hoped for some interest, but we had no idea what kind of response we’d get. Still, we at Chosen Few made a commitment: even if only 7 or 8 players signed up, we were going to build this team.

Why?

Because we firmly believe that EVERY child deserves the chance to play America’s favorite pastime; regardless of race, gender, nationality, physical ability, or background.

At first, we considered limiting registration to just Willacy County. But after receiving an outpouring of interest from families across the beautiful Rio Grande Valley, that’s right PURO 956, we’ve decided to open registration to any child from any town who wants to join our PONY Champions League team:
“The Chosen Few Champions”!!!!

Here’s what you need to know:

- Registration is open for the next 7 days.
- Players must be between the ages of 4–23 & actively enrolled in school, and have a special need that prevents participation in traditional baseball or softball.
- We welcome players who use walkers, wheelchairs, or other mobility devices, as long as a parent or family member can join them on the field.

No limits. No barriers. Just opportunity!!!!

Our Regional Champions League director has shared stories of blind and deaf players thriving in this game as well.

With your support, we’ll be creating something truly special for our youth.

We may even end up forming more than one team, that’s how big this is growing!
