The RSB football team had a successful jamboree in Tenino this afternoon. They started out against Annie Wright with touchdowns by Manny Becerra-Souza and Keeton Nichols. The defense surrendered 1 touchdown to Annie Wright but held on for the win. Against Black Hills in the second scrimmage, Manny scored his second touchdown of the day. Black Hills also scored once as the two teams played to a draw.

Overall, the boys made a good showing against the 1A and 2A teams they faced. They will kick off the regular season next week in a non-league game against PWV at Willapa Valley on Friday night!

The RSB football team won their 3rd straight tug-of-war competition against PWV this afternoon at The Pacific County Fair. The competition was preceded by excellent performances by the RSB junior high and high school cheer squads. Go Ravens!

Fall sports practices are here! High school football has their first practice tomorrow afternoon. All of the other high school fall sports will start practice on Monday. For those that are planning to participate this fall, make sure that you get your information updated in FinalForms before practices start. Both parents and athletes need to log in and update information. When you are asked to search for your school, search for South Bend, as all of our registration goes through South Bend's FinalForms account. If you have questions, please contact one of our athletic directors for assistance. Go Ravens!

There will be an informational meeting for fall sports next Thursday, August 13th, at 6:00 in Koplitz Fieldhouse. This meeting will be for all fall high school sports (football, volleyball, cross country, and cheer), as well as junior high football and cheer.

In the meantime, please make sure that you get into FinalForms and update all information. Both parents and athletes need to do this (link below). Please check to see when the athlete's physical expires. In order to practice, an athlete must be fully cleared in FinalForms, including a valid physical. Remember that all registrations go through South Bend's FinalForms.

The boys basketball team has a couple fundraisers coming up.

We have our first state track medalist of the meet! Chris Banker cleared 6-4 to finish 2nd in the high jump. The winner jumped a meet record of 6-10.

Other competitors today included Avalyn Stigall (12th in discus), Emily Young (14th in pole vault), Toby Lorton (16th in the 800), and the boys 4x100 team (21st). Yesterday, Jack Milton finished 14th in the 300 hurdles.

The RSB boys soccer team had their season come to an end in the state tournament with a 5-0 loss to Meridian. The boys finished with a record of 17-2-1.

Boys 4x100 - Manny Souza, Ray Robinett-Skoubo, Levi Karchesy, Chris Banker (6th)
