Big win for the Seacoast Braves today, taking down South Lawrence 17–5 in a game shortened by the mercy rule.
The offense was locked in from top to bottom, highlighted by home runs from G Burnham and Jake Bruce. Burnham had a huge day at the plate, driving in 4 runs, while Bruce added 3 RBIs with his long ball.
G McKay stayed hot with a 4-hit day, scoring 4 runs, and J Perkins came up big with 2 hits and 5 RBIs to help break the game open.
On the mound, Rick Terry gave the Braves 5 strong innings, keeping South Lawrence in check before Jake Bruce closed it out in the 6th.
Final: Braves 17, South Lawrence 5
