First choir rehearsal for the Carbon County Children's Choir is today at the Rawlins Music Academy at 5:30! We want you to participate, so come and sing with us!

I have also lowered the age range to 6-18! If they can sit still (with breaks) and participate for an hour, we would love to have the voices! Let's make music together!

In case you missed it at the Music and Art Festival today we are now officially moving forward with enrollment for music courses in Carbon County!

Open enrollment is from now until September 6th. Make sure you reserve your courses! I will be collaborating with the Music Academy in Rawlins to have a centralized location for my courses and the children's choir. If you are interested in the choir or one of the auxiliary courses, or individual private lessons, please reach out and contact me and I will send contracts and further information!

I can’t believe summer is nearing its end! There is such excitement in the air as families are preparing to go back to school. Don’t forget music in the curriculum for a well rounded education!

Services Offered:
>Voice and Instrument lessons - $50/hr -or- $30/half hr<
(voice, guitar, piano) & (introductory instrumental courses on all instruments)

>Courses - $300/15 weekly sessions ($20 per lesson)<
General Music - This course is necessary to create foundational music skills. Music notation, music literacy, rhythm and pitch notation and recognition. What is music and how do we interact with it?

Music Theory - Deeper analysis of musical concepts, why does music behave the way it does and how do we interact with it in more intellectual ways.

Composition & Songwriting - Learn and use the building blocks of music necessary to compose music. Lyrical and musical skill-building exercises to write music.

Music Appreciation & Music History - How has music developed with the course of history and how has it impacted social and cultural events. All music has aspects that can be appreciated and used to glean skills from.

Class Guitar - Social environment for playing together. Creating music and improving guitar skills collaboratively.

>Children's Choir - ages 8-18<
An opportunity for children to learn vocal and musical skills collaboratively in a group. Choir is a social environment where all can contribute together to create something greater. A collaborative artform that teaches cooperation, self-efficacy, and community.
