Fear isn’t always loud.
Sometimes it looks like making excuses not to ride.
Sometimes it looks like overthinking every little thing.
Sometimes it looks like convincing yourself you’re “just being careful” when deep down you know you’ve stopped trusting yourself.
The hardest part about fear isn’t the fear itself.
It’s the way it slowly steals things from you.
Your confidence.
Your progress.
Your goals.
Your joy.
And the longer it stays, the more normal it starts to feel.
But here’s what I want you to know:
You do not have to wait until you feel fearless to move forward.
Confidence is not the absence of fear.
Confidence is learning that you can handle the feeling of fear and keep going anyway.
One small step.
One ride.
One victory at a time.
What’s one thing fear has been costing you lately in your riding?
