Qualified 10th out of 23 cars
Finished P13 for the main event
This was probably one of Maddex more off nights all season but for this only being his 6th race ever in a hobby stock car he continues to learn so much and sometimes we have to remember that this was ONLY his 6th race in the car. We had a great car for qualifying and he managed to turn his fastest laps ever in this car with 15.4 which is awesome. During the main event we ended up with too much stagger and as a rookie driver in this class and learning a new car we quickly turned this race into a training opportunity vs trying to race for position (he still fought to be where he ended) and in the end he pulled the car into the box the way it came out of the box and that’s a win as well. He encountered a near miss with a car spinning in front of him and he handled that extremely well with little reaction time as Aaron comes on the radio to say “ I bet that one made your as***le pucker up”. He also got to experience being dumped for the first time and that was fun 🤣🤣🤣. In the end he is 14 and only 6 total races experienced in this class. He will continue to learn and grow from all of these experiences and will continue to race everyone with respect.
