One more post because these boys deserve every bit of the recognition. ❤️⚾
The championship was an incredible ending, but there were so many moments throughout the entire tournament that deserve to be celebrated.
💣 The long ball was on full display!
Nico, Brendon, and Jonah all left the yard this weekend with huge home runs that kept the momentum alive, no matter the score.
🔥 Nico had a tournament to remember. He came through with clutch hit after clutch hit, highlighted by an incredible championship game where he went 3-for-3 with a home run, double, and 7 RBIs. He also threw two scoreless innings with five strikeouts in our first bracket game.
💪 Brendon made an impact everywhere. He launched a three-run home run during pool play, collected multiple-hit games, drove in key runs throughout the weekend, started on the mound in the semifinals, and was a rock defensively behind the plate and in the field.
🚀 Jonah came up with huge swings all tournament, including a home run in pool play and clutch doubles in both the semifinals and championship game that helped break things open.
⚾ Josiah F delivered some of the biggest clutch hits of the weekend, including a bases-clearing double during our comeback against Sluggers and a three-hit championship game. On the mound, he was dominant in the title game, throwing five strong innings with seven strikeouts.
👏 Blake set the tone when bracket play began with five shutout innings and seven strikeouts, while also coming through with timely hits and outstanding defense all weekend.
💥 Malachi consistently came through in big moments with timely RBIs, multiple-hit games, and quality at-bats that kept rallies alive.
🔥 Joe was a spark at the top of the lineup all weekend, collecting key hits, scoring runs, and helping ignite several big innings.
💯 Eben was an on-base machine, going a perfect 3-for-3 in the semifinals, adding multiple-hit games, aggressive baserunning, and making key plays in the field.
👏 Adam came through with multiple-hit performances during pool play, added important RBIs during championship Sunday, and stepped up whenever his number was called.
💪 Easton contributed key RBIs, quality at-bats, and helped keep big innings alive when the offense got rolling.
No stat sheet can capture the effort from every player on this roster. The pitchers attacked the zone. The defense turned double plays, made routine plays look easy, and played clean baseball when it mattered most. Every player embraced their role, stayed ready, and never stopped believing.
Going 0-4 in pool play could have broken a lot of teams.
Instead, these boys responded by winning three straight games, outscoring their opponents 42-5 on Championship Sunday, and bringing home the trophy.
That’s resilience.
That’s toughness.
That’s TEAM baseball.
